Days / Hours: Mon - Fri / 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Summary of Duties: Participate in developing and documenting User Stories by providing test strategy and automation estimates. Develop, document, and maintain test strategy and test scenarios. Build and execute unit, component, acceptance, integration, load, security, scalability, usability, and platform tests. Conduct code reviews to ensure consistency, quality, and reusability of test automation artifacts. Partner with developers to ensure all areas of application are fully tested and find technical solutions for test automation. Build and manage automated test suites and ensure execution through various environments, CI-CD pipelines and to be used by NOC teams. Regularly execute, maintain and upkeep automated test suites and analyze results to identify cause for failures. Create defects for issues found with appropriate details and ensure issues are resolved, including validation of fix, and required automation updates. Present appropriate results to sign off on software functionality for new production releases. Work with cross team and release management to manage dev, QA, and production release of software. Perform exploratory testing to understand feature and how it is implemented; find additional or unexpected behavior; and refine and define additional test cases for feature. Contribute to QA automation framework using industry standard tools and approaches. Leverage and enhance coding standards and best practices for automated QA code. Participate in analyzing Major Incidents and Emergency Change controls to identify opportunities to automate software quality test cases to reduce or eliminate those.

Qualifications: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field of study and 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance Engineering. Employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field of study and 5 years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance Engineering in lieu of a Master's degree or equivalent and 3 years of experience.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following:

1. 3 years of Java coding experience;
2. automated testing tools to include Cucumber, Gherkin, Selenium Webdriver, NodeJS or Java;
3. API automation testing using JAVA Springboot2, RestAssured, GraphQL or Postman;
4. JMS driven messaging protocols;
5. MS Entity Framework or Spring JDBC;
6. service oriented architecture;
7. working with CI/CD processes and tools;
8. source control versioning tools and processes to include Git and Stash;
9. writing SQL queries for test data preparation and data validation;
10. Splunk analytics for validating technical fixes and updates in app code/configuration;
11. defect tracking tools to include JIRA;
12. manual testing;
13. working with B2B, B2C or Enterprise Applications;
14. configuring and managing devices within organizational units in GSuite;
15. testing multi-tier applications on ChromeOS Devices;
16. debugging ChromeOS Devices and Apps on ChromeOS Devices; and
17. validating iRule changes in network traffic to different services that are utilized by Chrome OS Devices.

Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
