The Role
Special Team Lead Guest Service Dom’s Kitchen & Market Special Team Lead Guest Service will be a charismatic leader dedicated to consistently meeting and exceeding guest expectations for an authentic Talk of the Town shopping experience! You convey an enchanting presence of strength, trust, warmth and sincerity on your quest to blend enthusiastic guest checkout specialists yielding Talk of the Town exceptional service with delighted guests! You will assist the Special Team Captain Guest Service creating an environment of engaged and passionate team members consistently delivering incredibly personalized Talk of the Town service to ecstatic guests who become loyal brand ambassadors! As the Special Team Lead Guest Service, you will assist in leading Dom’s Kitchen & Market dynamic Guest Checkout team dedicated to delivering Talk of the Town Guest Service!
Responsibilities
Dom’s Kitchen & Market Special Team Lead Guest Service will assist the Special Team Captain Guest Service in oversight of total Guest Checkout operations and assist with accountability for total Guest Checkout that merges your love for people – both team members and guests – with operational excellence. You will be:
- Expected in the absence of the Special Team Captain Guest Service to lead the Guest Checkout operation
- Measured and rewarded by your ability to deliver Talk of the Town Guest Service, drive optimal Guest Checkout teams’ performance, maintain all Guest Checkout operations and achieve financial targets
- Accountable for the extraordinary experience of your team and your guests
- Responsible for engaging conversations with guests and ensure each guest receives an extraordinary Talk of the Town guest experience
- Responsible to assist as the guest contact for guest inquiries/concerns with expedient follow-up and resolve
- Expected to assist in successfully training, developing, retaining, mentoring and motivating Dom’s Kitchen & Market first-class Guest Checkout team leading to inspired teamwork creating an inviting atmosphere for guests
- Expected to assist with work duties across Guest Checkout department including cross-training of team members
- Accountable for supporting schedules for Guest Checkout team members for maximum productivity and high standards of quality that align to business needs and budgeted labor goals and ordering of supplies within budget
- Accountable to support Team Captain with daily Cash Management, weekly audits, record retention, Service Desk/Cashier procedures
- Responsible to maintain a regular cleaning and maintenance program for Guest Checkout area, equipment and Shopbacks with organization of backroom supplies and supply closets
- Listening for the Voice of the Guest to identify department trends for guest needs and expectations and counsel with Special Team Captain Customer Service to integrate findings to deliver value and accelerate growth

Qualifications
- 1 years’ Guest Service leader experience in retail, hospitality or restaurant
- Proven history of consistent engaging Guest Service experience
- Excellent communication, organizational and planning skills
- Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making and financial analysis
- Advanced computer skills
- Sense of urgency, time management, prioritization and multitasking skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to maintain composure, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Availability must reflect the needs of the business, which may change from time to time
- Strong sense of team – desire to WIN together with a first-class team!

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must be able to perform the following physical activities regularly: Walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions
- Walking 90% and sitting 10% of day
- Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas and/or products
- Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force often and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures – walk-in coolers and freezers
- Exposure to chemicals and cleaning products
- Operating equipment (checkout, baler, compactor, power jack)
