Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the parts department, ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory audit
- Coordinate shipping and receiving of parts, ensuring timely delivery
- Provide excellent customer service to internal departments and external customers
- Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the parts storage area
- Train and supervise parts department staff, providing guidance and support
Experience:
- Previous experience in a parts management role preferred
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and practices
- Proficiency in using forklifts for material handling
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external vendors
- Familiarity with sourcing and ordering parts from suppliers
- Knowledge of logistics processes for shipping and receiving parts
- Mechanical knowledge to understand part specifications and requirements
