WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Safely and efficiently move trailers throughout the truck yard
- Weigh loaded trailers
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on spotter tractors
- Wash trailers as needed
- Perform lot and/or yard checks
- Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
ROLE SPECIFICS
- You'll be working indoors and outdoors throughout the year and will be exposed to harsh weather extremes. Shifts are generally 10 hours long for four days a week or 12 hours long for three days a week
- Sunday-Wednesday 5:00AM-3:30PM
YOU MUST HAVE
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Degree.
- Ability to pass physical abilities test to meet standards of job
- Sufficient hearing and vision necessary to operate powered equipment safely
- Safe driving record
YOU MAY ALSO HAVE
- A commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Professional truck driving experience
