Job Posting for Pool Attendant at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Somerset

Attendant maintains area clean and helps ensure the safety of hotel guests. Interacts cordially with customers. (Note: The Pool Attendant is not a lifeguard.)
Contributes to the safety of and provide excellent service to guests and employees.
Complies with corporate/hotel policies concerning guest services, procedures, standards, personal conduct and performance.
Cleans pool, floors, tables, chairs, garbage, etc. in accordance with daily and rotational schedules; monitors pool area for unruly guests, trespassers and those not complying with pool restrictions.
Maintains and replenishes pool towels; bring the dirty towels to the laundry room to be washed.
Reports accidents, injury and emergency situations immediately.
Clean pool area and bring dirty towels to the laundry room at the end of your shift.
Have dependable transportation to/from work.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal or no constant supervision.
Ability to cordially interact with hotel guests of all backgrounds/ages using good judgment/customer service skills.
Ability to maintain self and wear designated uniform in a clean, professional-like appearance/manner.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds unassisted.
Ability to work shift hours, weekends, and holidays when scheduled.
Physically demanding position with prolonged standing, frequent bending, reaching, walking, lifting, etc.
Frequent interaction with guests both leisure and business.
If you need to take a day off please request it to your Manager in advance.
If you are unable to report to work as schedule for any reason, you must personally contact your Manager at least two (2) hours in advance of your reporting time.
