Primary Function
Under the direction of the Clerk of the District Court or designee performing a variety of clerical, customer service and cashiering activities in accordance with established state statutes, rules of the Fourth Judicial District Court, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and the Clerk of the District Court policies and procedures.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
One (1) year of clerical, cashier, or customer service experience required.
One (1) year of experience with MSWord required.
Ability to type 40 net words per minute required.
Experience/training in legal terminology and court systems preferred.
Completion of a pre-employment criminal records check and post-offer drug screen required.
- Equivalent education beyond requirement may be substituted for work experience requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- Extended periods of sitting and standing; frequent walking, reaching and carrying; and occasional climbing stairs, balancing, bending and kneeling.
- Ability to transport themselves to and from various locations throughout the department, courthouse and other locations.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or carry files and other materials weighing up to 10 pounds and to occasionally lift and carry equipment and other materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Visual abilities, include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Communication abilities include the ability to talk and hear within normal ranges.
