Shift Schedule: varying daytime hours Monday-Friday

This position is responsible for assisting with:
- purchasing food and supplies while implementing menu cycles
- evaluating and ensuring that the department is in code compliance and follows all sanitation and infection control procedures
- implementing departmental policies and procedures
- meeting residents' nutritional needs with menu planning and recipe selection
- scheduling and oversite of dietary department staff
- helping out when needed as a cook
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Certified Dietary Manager/Certified Food Protection Professional (CDM/CFPP) is desired, but not required
- previous experience in healthcare or food service with supervisory skills
- experience in quantity cooking
