Regional Nurse Consultant Responsibilities Include:

• observe and manage acute changes in a resident's condition
• supervise caregiver duties and provide caregiver education when necessary
• maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, physicians, pharmacies, and all employees
• monitor compliance with policies and procedures
• assist with regulatory compliance through observation, correction, and reporting of situations that may cause exposure to the assisted living residence
• help provide a safe, comfortable, home-like environment
• be part of the regional nurse on call rotation
• other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• current licensure in the state of Wisconsin as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
• degree from an accredited school of nursing
• previous experience as a nurse is preferred but not required
• ability to understand and carry out technical oral and written instructions
• excellent time management skills
• ability to accept and give directions
• work well in a team environment
• have a desire to make a difference in people's lives
