- Manage P.O numbers and SRO numbers.
- Schedule production and manage inventory of raw materials and finish products using the MRP inventory control system.
- Manage production order releases base on space, capacity, manpower with input from Supervisor.
- Provide open order reports for review and distribute to supporting departments for updates.
- Provide management with visibility of material shortages, backlogs, manage WIP variances and other potential schedule conflicts.
- Manage warehouse and shipping departments, responsible for outsourcing secondary machining of materials, purchasing MRO supplies and logistics.
- Serve as an expediter to communicate routings on shop floor.
- Work with MRP computer system to track inventory, orders and shipments.
- Work and assist with cycle counts and warehouse policy and procedures when needed.
- Coordinate material movement and operations throughout a shop.
- Spearhead the set up and development of a new ERP system and train all employees.
- Review open orders before sending for invoicing to ensure material and labor has been issued and accounted for.
- Write, edit and test new policies and procedures of company with ERP system in plant.
Required Skill/Abilities:
- Extensive Knowledge of Manufacturing requirements and planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with computerized materials control programs
- Proficient with Microsoft office.
Salary Range : $25.00 - $28.00/hour
