About the Team: The Financial Systems and Management Reporting (FSMR) team is responsible for global financial support in four key areas: Global Financial Operations (GFO), Financial Management Accounting (FMA), Tax and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). The team covers everything from back-office functions like payroll and customer billing to tax compliance and budget forecasting. About the Role: We are seeking an individual with SAP and finance process experience to join our Financial Systems and Management Reporting function (FSMR) within the Global Controller's organization. Following Dow Jones implementation of SAP S/4 HANA, this team's focus is on day-to-day system management supporting the Finance department, delivering a range of system enhancement initiatives and developing our management reporting capabilities on the new platform. This role will serve as a liaison between the business and technology teams as we collaborate to enhance systems and operating procedures, manage configurations, develop best practice processes and deliver future enhancements. You Will: Perform recurring tasks to support the monthly Close, Outlook and the annual Budget/LRP processes Produce relevant financial data for the quarterly and annual Budget presentations Develop adhoc reports in BI Launchpad to support the monthly Close, Outlook and the annual Budget/LRP processes Interact and collaborates with IT counterparts for all master data, management reporting and Financial system needs Configure and maintain revaluation, translation, eliminations, fringe accrual and allocations which are required in the monthly Financial Close, Outlook and the annual Budget/LRP processes Perform all necessary user acceptance testing in QA environment Participate in various financial system enhancement initiatives as needed You Have: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is strongly preferred. CPA or CMA is a plus. Relevant reporting / data management experience of 1-2 years. Planning and organizational skills including effective time management. Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines. - Attention to detail with experience in business process development. High focus on timeliness and accuracy of all reporting High degree of proficiency in PC/computer skills including experience with various financial applications and reporting tools and with Excel, Word and PowerPoint. SAP S4/HANA and TM1 financial systems experience highly preferred. Demonstrates initiative, good communication skills and a team player.
