What are the responsibilities and job description for the Groundskeeper position at Downstream Casino Resort?
JOB SUMMARY:
Maintain all exterior landscaping, grounds, parking lot and sidewalks. Exterior working environment. Operates mowers and snow blowers. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Downstream Casino Resort policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains all landscapes, including trimming trees and other gardening work to ensure appearance, safety and cleanliness.
- Maintains exterior grounds, including painting of curbs, signs, etc., fixing signs and repairing fences to ensure appearance, safety and cleanliness.
- Removes snow and de-ices road and sidewalk surface to ensure safety and convenience of guests and employees.
- Repairs asphalt and concrete surfaces.
- Installs and repairs irrigation systems.
- Empties trash receptacles on exterior grounds. * Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- High school diploma or its equivalency preferred.
- Knowledge of operation of mowers, tractors, trimmers, weed eater, snow blowers and drive pick-up truck with standard transmission.
- Valid operator’s license.
- Applicants must be able to substantiate a safe driving record within the parameters acceptable to our liability insurance carrier.
The Downstream Casino Resort Adheres to all applicable Resolutions of the Quapaw Tribe of Oklahoma. Native American Preference policy does apply.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
