The Manufacturing Planning Manager is a critical role within InnovaFlex™, providing technical and analytical support to both the operations department and factory planning.  As a key contributor, you will track essential metrics such as fab moves, cycle time, capacity, and chemical usage. Leveraging these insights, you will proactively identify issues and develop effective solutions to enhance our manufacturing process.  In addition, you will lead and manage a team of Process Technicians working shifts 1, 2 & 3. As back-up support to the Director FAB Operations, you’ll play an integral part in driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Factory Planning and Shipments:  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production planning and timely delivery of products to customers.
  2. Capacity and Scenario Management: Optimize production capacity by analyzing scenarios and adjusting plans accordingly.
  3. Mobility and Operations Metrics: Monitor and improve mobility within the production process, while tracking relevant operational metrics.
  4. Material Usage and Objectives Reporting: Maintain accurate records of material usage and contribute to performance reporting.
  5. Development and Maintenance Management: Continuously improve manufacturing processes and maintain production systems.
  6. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate and mentor a team of Process Technicians working shifts 1, 2 & 3 to achieve operational excellence.
  7. Performance Feedback and Employment Management: Provide feedback on performance through one-on-one meetings, including disciplinary performance and annual performance appraisals.  Handle teammate time tracking, including paid time off.
  8. MRP File Setup and Maintenance: Assist in setting up and maintaining MRP (Material Requirements Planning) files to optimize material flow and inventory management. 
  9. Collaboration with Departments: Collaborate closely with Operations, Quality, and Engineering departments to align production plans and enhance overall efficiency.
  10. Budget Management: Oversee and manage your department budget.
  11. Back-up support to our Director FAB Operations.
  12.  Adaptability and Flexibility: Handle any other duties as assigned based on business needs.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g. Operations Management, Engineering, Business) preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing planning and process optimization required
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail, enabling you to effectively address complex production challenges required 
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities required
  • 4 to 8 years Semiconductor or similar manufacturing environment experience required 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team required
  • Possess strong computer skills and competency in MS office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams) required
  • Willingness to learn, improve and adapt when working under time constraints, production and/or quality issues required
  • Strong programming language Python or Sequence experience required
  • Experience with lean management preferred
  • Experience with project management required 
  • Budgetary experience preferred

Salary Information:

  • Annualized Base Salary for this Role: $105,654 to $125,000; offered base salary dependent upon experience, education, knowledge.
  • Annual Bonus Target: 20% of base annualized salary; prorated first year of employment based on date of hire.

Work Schedule:  

  1. Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm 
  2. Be available to support direct reports during their respective shifts 1, 2 & 3
  3. Additional hours as needed to support business needs
  4. Once fully trained and performing satisfactorily candidate hired is eligible for a 9/80 work schedule and/or working one (1) day remotely; subject to change and/or dependent on the needs of the business
