The Sales Operations/Demand Planning Manager is responsible for creating and managing the workflow between the sales department and the manufacturing/supply chain departments. This role will provide the necessary data to the sales and marketing teams to effectively distribute product through the global sales channels. This includes creating a seasonal forecast, coordinating the online sales campaigns and being an advocate for inventory allocation across all sales channels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Operations/Forecasting/Demand Planning
- Manage the DPS’s sales operations, forecasting/demand planning and inventory management for all global, sales/distribution channels
- Work closely with supply chain and manufacturing departments, ensuring the sales teams have clear understanding of the Available For Sale (AFS), for all global sales channels
- Present weekly updates relative to inventory status, backorders and seasonal DM inventory
- Prepare and manage the annual production/purchasing forecast templates
- Work closely with sales management to review preseason orders and in-season sales requirements (re-order/cancellation rates)
- Manage the sales reporting tools, used by sales management, the in-house sales team and DPS’ outside sales representatives.
- Manage the sales department’s price lists, order forms and annual terms and conditions
- Work with sales management to build the annual DTC sales forecasts (revenue, product mix, margin analysis)
- Review weekly sales performance and adjust inventory and future forecasts

TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in technical problem solving, sales analytics and team building.
- Strong organizational skills and understanding of the DPS business cycle, sales and profitability requirements.
- Understanding of e-commerce software and analytics that drive the DTC business, preferably Shopify.
- Skill and experience in verbal and written communication with various stakeholders inside and outside the company.
- Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of product forecasting and sales analysis. E-commerce experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Shopify and willingness to learn new software as it relates to the job requirements.
