Material Planner

We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our Materials team and support our growing business. In this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Provide customer service and maintain customer portals.
• Be able to read and generate daily / weekly / monthly / yearly forecast.
• Daily analyze and monitoring of customer requirements EDI.
• Daily analyze and monitoring of stock levels (molded components, resins, purchased parts, and etc.).
• Manages direct procurement of raw materials, purchase components, packaging and others.
• Generating supplier releases and monitoring the delivery status.
• Works in conjunction with suppliers and other departments to ensure products are received, warehoused and shipped on time.
• Troubleshoots current logistic systems to ensure accuracy of transactions and inventory count
• Be part of the cycle counts and inventory team.
• Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
• Implement specific customer requirements, such as internal reporting or customized transportation metrics.
• Meet schedule for task completion, take corrective action when a timeline is in trouble, efficient routing of job through shop.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• A bachelor degree is required, with a preferred concentration in Business, Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years work experience with MRP Systems.
• At least 2 years work experience in automotive manufacturing, preferred injection molding.
• Intermediate PC Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Logical and strong mathematical skills are must.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills including strong project and time management skills.
