Responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients and assisting them through the check-in and check-out process
- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
- All things insurance: verifying eligibility, answers questions, and authorizing benefits
- Completing training to advance your skills and knowledge to advance in your career
- Assisting opticians with frame styling and presenting lens options based on the patient’s lifestyle and visual needs
Requirements
- Prior optical experience is NOT required for this position
- A positive attitude and a willingness to strive for excellence
- Ability to deliver a SPEC-tacular customer experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work hours of operation including evenings and Saturdays
- Bilingual in Spanish or Burmese is a big plus
- Retail sales or customer service experience is preferred
