Position Overview: The product management team at DrFirst is a fast-paced, forward thinking group, focused on launching innovative new features and functionality to help improve patient lives and outcomes. As a Product Manager, you will uncover what clinicians actually want and need in order to navigate today's healthcare challenges and then roll that information into vision, strategy, and roadmap. Working in tight collaboration with tech and design, you will bring it all to life. We are a passionate, entrepreneurial, and curious team that is constantly experimenting and learning, and expect you to as well. In addition to focusing on the end user and the product, you will lead all business aspects including strategic product planning, internal and external product expertise and evangelism, business analysis, cross-functional leadership and collaboration across the organization as it relates to our core e-prescribing platform.

What you will work on:

  • Analyzing and understanding market and end user needs
  • Leading the product, from conception and strategic planning through requirements definition, development, launch, and post-launch customer satisfaction
  • Drafting and/or reviewing product guides, and marketing materials
  • Supporting sales and corporate partners with product related activities and customer meetings as needed
  • Tracking, analyzing, and management of KPI’s and related product metrics
  • Keeping tabs on competitors, industry trends and technologies, analysis, and product-differentiation strategies
  • Communicating, collaborating, and leading cross-functional teams to successfully develop and release products, support marketing and sales efforts, and streamline internal processes that impact your product
  • Creating, analyzing, and proposing new product ideas and opportunities in support of long term vision and strategy

Qualifications:

  • Five plus (5 ) years of software product management experience, specifically focused on healthcare solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and PGY2 concentraction in informatics *preferred
  • Combination of business and technical acumen, with a understanding of technology
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, business analysis, and decision making capabilities
  • Demonstrated passion for and experience with optimization of the end to end user experience
  • Process oriented understanding of product management needs and the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders within the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage and address gaps and work in a fast paced environment
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Deep sense of product ownership across all aspects of the solution

Physical Requirements:

  • 10% Travel

  • 30% Phone work
