The Receptionist is responsible for providing customer service to members and guests by greeting and directing them in person and on the telephone. The Receptionist is passionate about interacting with members to ensure a positive guest experience. Under the direction of management, the Receptionist assists in taking phone calls, answering questions, handling correspondence, and keeping the reception area clean.
Responsibilities
Acknowledge, greet, and thank all members and guests- Answer incoming calls, take messages, transfer calls, and make reservations as needed
- Maintains member roster and website by updating with additions, deletions, and changes
- Handles escalated member/guest service issues in a prompt and effective manner
- Train, schedule, direct and evaluate other receptionists if required
- Serve the needs of members and guests by helping with course information, directions, etc.
- Maintain an orderly reception area by organizing workspace and maintaining general supplies
- Assist other departments by performing administrative tasks
- Implement and support all AGC initiatives and programs as requested by management
- Other duties may be assigned by management
Qualifications • Ability to operate computer, fax machine, copy machine • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have an even demeanor, be outgoing, friendly, and proactive Education • High school diploma and 2 years of related experience in customer service, hospitality or equivalent combination of education and experience.
