Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the logistics operations of the company, including dispatching, order fulfillment, and materials management.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Implement and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure stock availability to meet customer demands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination between departments.
- Analyze logistics data and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, transportation costs, and inventory accuracy.
- Identify areas for improvement in the logistics operations and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of dispatching procedures, mechanical operations, and materials management.
- Familiarity with vendor management and negotiation strategies.
- Knowledge of NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations is a plus.
- Proficient in using logistics software systems for tracking shipments and managing inventory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and make sound decisions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in e-commerce logistics is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage profit loss within the logistics function.
