We are looking for a relationship-creating Regional Sales Manager to join our team. The position will be integral to energize and establish new dealers and manage an established team of contracted Outside Sales Representatives to collectively drive sales. You must be a self-starter, be extremely organized, and recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships.
This is a remote based position, with the best fit for the position in between Mobile AL and Tallahassee FL areas.
This position will cover the territories in the states of Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida
How you will contribute:
- Develop and maintain a preferred manufacturer status with Outside Sales Representatives through regularly making joint sales calls to dealers with the primary emphasis to close business.
- Prepare and completes a business plan for sales growth, identifying SWOT and developing plans to address issues, problems, and opportunities.
- Successfully executing new product launch initiatives.
- Develop local and regional promotions within established budgets to drive sales and gain market share for maximum return on investment of time and capital.
- Must continually prospect for viable new dealers while developing a keen awareness of what is happening within their designated geographic area.
- Support the respective dealers’ sales teams through presentations, coaching, training, and mentoring of the value-added selling process on a consistent and on-going basis.
Qualification:
- 3 years of experience with outside sales or field sales with strong track record of achievement.
- Experience in the windows/doors industry and/or building materials a plus!
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent fields of study with outside sales experience.
- Must present yourself with confidence and professionalism with excellent presentational, verbal and written communication skills. Consultative selling, strong communication, influencing, negotiating, analytical, time management skills are essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word & Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Must possess valid driver license and pass motor vehicle records screen.
Work Location:
- Full-time, home-based in around Tennessee with expected travel to regional locations, up to 75% of each month.
- Territories include: Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida
