Job Summary:
10-hour shifts
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and general ledger reconciliation.
Duties:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Conduct journal entries and maintain the general ledger
- Perform balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations
- Utilize financial software to manage accounts
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements such as SOX
- Conduct cash flow analysis and forecasting
- Demonstrate financial acumen in decision-making processes
- Assist with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in financial accounting principles
- Experience in balance sheet reconciliations
- Knowledge of LIHTC regulations is a plus
- Familiarity with financial software for data analysis and reporting
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliations accurately
- Strong understanding of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance
