Independent Pharmacy - Great Opportunity for Experienced Filling Technician
** Bilingual (SPANISH) PREFERRED
** Great Schedule (Only open Monday-Friday, Off Weekends)
** Great Hours: 8:30 - 5:00 , Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Fulfill prescription orders and prep orders for verification by pharmacist
- Answer phone calls and troubleshoot patient inquiries by navigating patient profile
- Enter and maintain data using Computer Rx computer system
- Contact third party insurance companies to resolve Rx rejection codes
- Contact doctor’s offices or hospitals to clarify Rx information
- Disburse completed and confirmed prescriptions to patients
- Answer patient questions and address customer service issues when they arise
- Assist the pharmacist with maintaining the ongoing medication inventory and place medication orders when instructed
