Production Manager

A growing Packaging Company is looking for a Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of their largest manufacturing facility. You will ensure that production meets output and quality targets while adhering to safety guidelines and maintaining a high standard of product quality.

Production Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all aspects of the production process, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor production metrics and implement strategies to improve performance, reduce downtime, and minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among production staff.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain product quality standards and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Train, mentor, and motivate production team members to foster a positive work environment and achieve production goals.
• Optimize production workflows and processes to enhance productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of production equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, performance metrics, and other documentation as required.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in plastics manufacturing.

Production Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Production Manager in the plastics manufacturing industry, with a strong background in injection molding.
• Solid understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety protocols within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in computer applications related to production management and reporting.
