The Dealer Relations Manager is responsible for prospecting, generating new sales leads, and scheduling appointments for regional M&A Associates. This individual will be a highly motivated self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including demographic data, prospect lists, discovery, and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to find opportunities is critical to success.
The Dealer Relations Manager is expected to:
· Develop new business via email, cold calling, and mass communication such as LinkedIn to introduce DSMA and identify potential clients within the target markets.
· Conduct research to identify potential prospects.
· Prospect, build and cultivate relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up to schedule appointments.
· Coordinate with VP’s and Associates to schedule dealer meetings.
· Attend DSMA team meetings and training.
· Manage data for new and prospective clients within Pipedrive CRM, ensuring all communications are logged and information is accurate.
· Maintain a weekly report of prospecting communication and business generated.
Requirements:
· HS Diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred
· 3-5 years of inside sales experience.
· Experience within the Automotive sector would be an advantage.
· Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined activity quotas.
· A proven track record of understanding and utilizing data to identify sales targets.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook and Teams)
· Pipedrive or similar Sales Management Tool experience is preferred
· Well-versed in remote communication tools such as Zoom and Teams
