What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engagement Specialist position at DSV?
The Employee Experience Specialist will play a key role in the onboarding and assimilation of all new employees, ensuring they have a strong understanding and connection to the DSV mission, vision and culture starting day one. Working closely with Human Resources and hiring managers, this individual will help create, facilitate, track and monitor the completion of new hire training and other experiences to support new employees throughout the duration of their onboarding, new hire training and employee experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborating – Establishes effective relationships and communication with HR Business Partners and hiring managers, providing feedback and communication regarding the new employee experience and ensuring seamless transitions throughout the process. Guides, coaches and directs leaders to ensure they have a consistent understanding of expectations in supporting their team members assimilation to DSV, their team and their job role.
- Tracking – Tracks completion of training workshops and other related onboarding activities Coordinates training locations, schedules and implementation plans.
- Data Gathering – Solicit feedback throughout the employee life cycle: new hire surveys, stay interviews, exit surveys, and engagement surveys.
- Reporting/Analysis – Measures and evaluates the employee experience through surveys and focus groups. You will take care of the monthly reporting for management on projects status or on specific HR KPIs’ (headcount, budget, attrition, exit interviews) throughout the employee experience and share with site leadership and Human Resources
- Employee Engagement – you will create the employee engagement calendar to increase employee involvement and motivation and support corporate initiatives (vision meetings, fun activities, wellness activities). Your goal is to curate innovative new hire experiences that positively impact employee satisfaction and retention.
- Communication – Create a communication plan to deliver consistent information on events / activities to promote employee involvement.
- Continuous improvement - Maintain feedback loop to increase efficiencies and effectiveness.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
- 3 years of employee engagement and/or HR experience
- 2 years of experience working in a highly collaborative team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
- Proficiency in Spanish
