Job Summary
The Security Analyst I will provision and deprovision access as well as be responsible for identifying and handling security incidents. The ideal person serves as the technical lead on functional teams and/or projects ensuring quality and timely delivery of Access Control Administration services.
This person will have experience in provisioning/deprovisioning user access, as well as experience handling security incidents. This role will be proficient in providing, modifying and deprovisioning access to corporate applications. The individual will work with multiple technology platforms and interface with other groups within IT Cybersecurity, MSSP partners, and other technology and business functions. This person will propose improvements to the processes. This person will investigate and determine the root cause of incidents.

Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and conduct periodic access reviews while working closely with the Information security teams.
- Seek out and assess potential security issues where applicable (for example: excessive privileges relative to job duty or separation of duties, escalate as required),
- Identify, document, and develop process improvements and streamline systems access requests during new hire, transfer, and termination processes.
- Strive to automate the provisioning and de-provisioning processes.
- Provide ongoing guidance and leadership in the development and maintenance of user roles/responsibilities while implementing a RBAC (Role Based Access Control) model where possible.
- Support internal and external audits by gathering and/or coordinating deliverables for necessary evidence and review
Qualifications
- 1 Years in Cybersecurity environment / Audit / Identity & Access Management
- Intermediate level understanding of computer security concepts including Identity & Access Management, Application Security, and Incident Management/Problem Management
- Strong deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills
- Familiar with EDR, SIEM, Firewalls, Vulnerability Management technologies
- Knowledge of PowerShell
- Intermediate knowledge of tools and products used in day-to-day performance of job responsibilities (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft Defender for Enterprise)
- Familiar with IT Regulations, PCI/Sarbanes-Oxley/HIPAA
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Security , SANS or other Cybersecurity certifications preferred
