The IT Clearing & Settlement department supports the development & testing needs of multiple DTCC core business lines including Clearing & Settlement, and NSCC Risk. The Business Management Lead will support and coordinate demand & supply balancing, Talent & workforce strategy and facilitate project & roadmap updates across the portfolio working closely with the department leadership and program governance for strategic multiyear roadmap.
Your Responsibilities:
- Manage the IT Product roadmap of assigned product line and ensure it delivers expected business value.
- Develop and carry out vision into clear, specific, and achievable objectives for the team and drive engagement across IT.
- Support the delivery of automation solutions by working with key collaborators.
- Lead key enablement projects to deliver automation solutions and support the federated model.
- Work directly with appropriate personnel to understand project concept, objectives, and approach. Take assigned project from original concept through final implementation.
- Provide timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinating actions, and resolving conflicts.
- Drive project meetings. Meet with project team(s) regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines. Meet with appropriate personnel for periodic reviews of prototypes, process simplification reviews and final products.
- Maintain relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up to date on requirements, changes, and staff, including Senior staff.
- Analyzes operation team’s strengths and areas of opportunities to feed into talent development for the organization.
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and guide the execution of those requirements into solutions.
- Maintain automation inventory, metrics, and data flows to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Collaborate across the organization to prioritize product initiatives partnering closely with IT and business product management.
- Communicate the technology product roadmap to stakeholders.
- Understand and incorporate regulatory, compliance, security, and controls requirements into product design for seamless consumption.
- Ensure governance consistency among area squads.
- Be able to respond to urgent adhoc programs related information.
- Mitigate risks by following established procedures, standards, policies, and supporting strong ethical behavior and enterprise leadership.

Talents Needed for Success:
- Technical IT product management experience preferred with background program delivery along with large scale program management.
- Bachelor's degree required with equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of IT or related IT product management experience including technical experience working in an agile environment with a solid grasp of IT infrastructure, and product management concepts.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience leading directly aligned, multi-disciplined squads, matrixed groups, or other large stakeholder groups needed for success.
- Experience building and delivering technical solutions with security, reliability, and reusability.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry (technology, financial instruments, regulations, etc.) preferred.
- Highly motivated, with the ability to take initiative, set priorities and perform tasks with minimal guidance.
- Demonstrable ability to develop and manage multi-functional processes and ability to meet priorities and timelines through product manager - product owner relationships.
- Ability to bring together various teams and stakeholders together for clarity on objectives, milestones and deliveries is critical for success in this role.
- Ability to handle multiple requests in parallel and bring order to it will be crucial to be successful.
