Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
- To include social events (Wedding events, local fairs, chili cook offs, local Rotary, Visitor Bureaus, Convention and Visitors organizations, Chamber of commerce events, etc)
- Generate new catering business through marketing and outreach efforts.
- Maintain a call log that can be verified with Name, contact information, date, time, etc) and a minimum of cold calls a day to local businesses, organizations, ball clubs, social clubs etc. with contact information.
- These are to be maintained online the share point site for verification by Director of Operations and Executive Leadership for follow up.
- Manage existing accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the culinary team to develop menus and pricing.
- Work closely with, lead, and staff all event functions to ensure that all catering events are successful.
- Ensure that all catering events are executed to the highest standards.
- To include, tables set up and breakdown, room cleanliness before and after the event, staff appearance standards, staff service standards, guest review process with a minimum of out of five at all times.
- Manage the catering budget and ensure that all events are profitable.
- Completed in partnership with The Director of Operations and Chef De Cuisine.
- Ensure that all catering events are in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- To include, heating, holding, handling of all food items.
- Proper disposal of all catering food items.
- Chef De Cuisine discretion as the disposal of all remaining food items.
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients.
- Team Member may be required to perform other duties.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience in business development, sales, with knowledge of specified sales channels
- Solid campaign and project management skills
- Excellent presentation skills. An independent thinker with outstanding relationship and time management skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
- Able to push, pull, lift or carry heavy loads up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to travel
