Duck Camp is seeking a Demand & Inventory Planner who will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts and managing inventory levels to support the business's sales objectives and operational efficiency.  This position requires exceptional analytical skills and plays a pivotal role in driving data-informed decisions across the organization.  We are looking for a proactive individual contributor, capable of navigating complex market dynamics, to ensure our S&OP (Sales and Operations) practices support the Duck Camp’s strategic objectives.


Responsibilities: 


  • Develops and maintains accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and sales projections.
  • Analyzes trends to predict future demand, ultimately contributing to Duck Camp’s sales and profitability goals.
  • Proactively identifies, communicates, and reports on forecast variances, risks, and opportunities, developing actionable mitigation strategies to support strategic decision-making.
  • Leads and contributes to S&OP enhancement projects, demonstrating strong project management skills and the ability to deliver impactful results with minimal supervision.
  • Identifies and addresses potential inventory issues with our e-commerce and retail teams.
  • Contributes to the monthly S&OP update process, working closely with Finance, Operations, and Marketing to ensure all forecasts reflect the latest market insights and business strategies.
  • Serves as a critical link among Sales, Operations, Finance, and Marketing, fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Manages the logistics and transportation of products from factory to distribution center.


Desired Skills & Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning and forecasting (apparel background preferred)
  • Exceptional business acumen with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities of our industry.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.  
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • High level of accuracy and reliability in managing forecasts and inventory data.
