WHAT YOU’LL DO: The User Experience (UX) Associate is an entry-level production role, providing definition and design support to Software Product projects through Design System, Visual Design, Research, or Enhancement projects and for Software Product releases. The UX Associate will be assigned a set of deliverables and learn to translate business needs and product requirements into user-focused and intuitive products, interfaces, platforms for mobile and web. Validates the assigned deliverables with a UX Researcher or an UX Lead and potentially presenting to larger stakeholder audiences during sprint reviews Supports the production, iteration and delivery of final design artifacts as defined by their project lead Attends all project UX meetings, design reviews, and workshops Collaborates with other stakeholders for input during the production of the artifacts and facilitates those discussions within their defined timeframe to deliver the solution. Collaborates and communicates professionally with clients and internal teams on projects Works with others, such as a UX Lead or a Product Owner, if working on a Sprint Team, to receive defined work assignments Assigned in a support delivery role for one project at a time. WHAT YOU’VE DONE: Bachelor’s degree, or higher level, or foreign equivalent, in HCI or a related design field or equivalent practical experience Some experience in Information Architecture and Interaction Design, Visual Design and/ or User Research Preferred prior work or internship experience in a related field Preferred experience with UI development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Android Studio, XCode, Angular.js, etc. Understanding of Agile methodology Understanding of the basics of Product Design Demonstrable ability for Design Thinking Familiarity with Duck Creek personas Good Problem-Solving skills Understanding of Lean UX methodology and the ability to iterate a concept into a polished deliverable Travel: 0-10% Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the country of the job location. Physical: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
