About The Job
Dudek is excited to be growing our Media Production team with the addition of a full-time videographer. This position will join our production team to help create video and photographic content for both Dudek and our clients. You’ll work closely with our tight knit team on everything from pre-production and creative conceptualization through filming on location and assisting in post-production tasks. We’re looking for a high performing videographer with a great creative eye and solid working knowledge of professional grade camera equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding creative team in the environmental industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Media Production Manager and team to execute video projects.
- Assist in conducting pre-production duties (planning, scripting, storyboarding, scheduling etc.).
- Perform camera operation (ranging from project and on field documentation to interviews and other creative filming).
- Conduct basic photography shoots including project sites and staff headshots.
- Assist in post-production duties including video editing and data management, when required.
- Assist in administrational duties.
- Research, collaborate and implement new techniques to improve the overall quality of videography/photography.
Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years professional experience as a commercial videographer.
- Proficiency in a range of professional camera, lighting and audio equipment.
- Competency in executing the full production process including preproduction, camera operation, lighting, audio and editing.
- Well-rounded understanding of creating video narratives for a range of platforms (social media, short form, documentary etc.).
- Working knowledge of Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Basic photography skills.
- Ability to travel overnight and potentially work mornings, evenings, and weekends, when needed.
- Ability to work outside for several hours in both heat and cold weather conditions.
- Must have the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- College graduate with a bachelor’s degree in a related area.
- Quick learner with fantastic organizational skills.
- GREAT communicator. You work well with others and can express yourself and your needs excellently both verbally and written.
- Self-starter with a high ability to self-motivate and problem solve.
- Team player ready to collaborate with our other Creative Service teams.
