- Handle and screen potential client calls.

· Be responsible for tracking the progress of certain cases (adoptions, sometimes guardianships, estate planning), making sure documents are prepped, proper notice is given, and deadlines are met

Caldwell law office of two solo-practice attorneys seeking legal assistant. Responsibilities include working on cases, through preparing documents from templates, filing document with the court, and interacting with clients, and managing office needs, through bookkeeping, ordering supplies, and paying bills. Experience with Zola Suite, Odyssey File and Serve (Court e-filing system), and QuickBooks is valued but not required, as is previous experience working in a law office setting. A strong candidate will have an eye for detail, be able to stay organized, be comfortable working independently, good writing skills, and have the interpersonal skills to work with clients and prospective clients.
