Nature of Responsibilities:
Serves as the nutritional expert for Duke Dining, developing educational and culinary programs for students and staff; Provides support and guidance for students with special dietary needs and food allergies; Resource administrator for the CBORD food management platform supporting the Food Systems CBORD Manager; Liaison between Duke Dining and Duke Wellness Center/Duke Student Health, ensuring adequate nutritional support for the Duke community;
Supervision of student interns or staff working for Nutrition Services is required. Other duties may include occasional teaching to university professionals and undergraduates in a formal or informal setting. Strong software skills for food analysis, and website/ social networking mediums is required. Collaborate with health and wellness professionals (internally and community based) to provide care as needed; Support healthy lifestyle choices and health maintenance throughout the campus community by creating and implementing campus-wide nutrition initiatives while collaborating with other university departments.

Required Minimum Qualifications
Work requires bachelor’s degree in dietetic/nutrition and American Dietetics Association (ADA) registry. No experience required beyond education/training. Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Registered Dietitian with a minimum of 5 years of experience or a graduate degree in Nutrition or Public Health with a minimum of 2 years experience.
