Responsibilities:
- Responsible for business development of this area by identifying prospective customers through research, cold-calling, face-to-face meetings, and field testing.
- Build strong relationships with your customers while assessing their packaging needs.
- Work with our CRM system (NetSuite by Oracle) to record all activities, customer inquiries, calls, emails, appointments, and quotes.
- Participate in training seminars with the sales team, attend weekly team meetings and generate reports as required.
- Handle all inside and outside sales of your accounts.
- Develop client relationships (70%) and maintain client engagement (30%).
- Travel on the road to meet prospects 50/50 and commute to the office in-person.
- Engage with all other business development responsibilities for the region.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of sales experience.
- Passionate about working with people.
- Motivated by exceeding objectives and achieving goals.
- Excellent time-management, adaptability and communication skills.
- Excellent ability to manage priorities, solve problems, meet objectives, and respect deadlines.
- Reliable personal equipment is required (laptop or PC, headset, camera, etc).
- Experience with CRM systems, NetSuite by Oracle is an asset.
- Valid driving license (clean driving record) and access to a reliable vehicle.
Work Hours: Full-time, Permanent, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Location: Remote - Local travel required.
Salary: Starting base salary 50K upwards commission
