Automotive BDC/Customer service representative

Duncan Ford Lincoln Mazda is currently hiring a Business Development Center/Customer Service Representative. In this position you will be responsible for responding to customers who contact us by phone, email or online, as well as making outgoing calls and emails to cultivate customer relationships and facilitate sales appointments. Outstanding customer service skills are required.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with internet customers and prospects according to their preferred method of communication (phone, text, email or in person)

  • Manage Internet sales leads, respond to inquiries in a timely fashion, and answer questions on available stock and product details.

  • Aide in determining each customer’s vehicle needs by actively listening.

  • Learn, understand, and follow call and email scripts.

  • Set, confirm, and follow-up on appointments.

  • Accurately enter customer information into database

  • Provide support to the sales department through the development of qualified lead appointments that result in closed business.

Successful Duncan BDC Representatives have come from a variety of backgrounds. The ideal candidate has a customer service background of some sort and will be a hard working, self-motivated, reliable professional with experience providing exceptional customer service.

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

  • Previous call center and/or Internet sales experience a plus.

  • Sales experience is a plus, but not required.

  • Requires strong communication skills in order to work effectively with customers.

  • Must be Internet savvy, have good computer skills and excellent organizational skills in order to keep track of all sales and service leads.

  • Excellent follow through and follow-up skills are a must.
