DuPont is recruiting for a Tyvek® Capability Leader based at our Spruance site in Richmond, VA! The Spruance Plant is home to 5 businesses: Kevlar®, Mylar®, Nomex®, Tyvek®& and Zytel® and is currently DuPont's largest manufacturing site. Water & Protection is a leading provider of engineered products and integrated systems for construction, worker safety, energy, oil & gas, transportation, water purification, and medical markets.
As a Tyvek® Capability Leader, you will plan, develop, implement, and monitor Tyvek® Unit-wide policies, procedures, and strategies. Anticipates and plans for long-term needs and trends. Design, develop, implement, and evaluate organizational development plans and programs to meet business needs such as leadership development, talent management, succession planning, and learning and development for exempt and non-exempt positions. Monitors employee and organizational development programs assess needs and results, develops new programs, and modifies existing programs based on business needs and data analytics.
Provide guidance and management to groups and individuals in Tyvek®.
Applies specialized professional knowledge about theoretical concepts and principles within own field; is a sought-after thought partner.
• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the business/processes in the market.
• Guides and prioritizes the activities of training coordinators accountable for similar responsibilities and performing moderately diverse activities.
• Works independently and receives minimal guidance; contributes to and executes business, functional, or product strategies.
• Impact of work reflects directly on the overall team for the quality of process execution and responsiveness to business needs.
• Operates with latitude for action and decision-making; uses judgment to make decisions that affect own area of responsibility within the business/function.
