Durex Industries is a manufacturer of custom heated components for machines and tools used to manufacture semiconductors that are powering electronic equipment across the world. The general manufacturing position in our heating element department is a critical link to the success of our organization.

Position Summary

The PH fabricator createsseveral different types of components for complete heater assemblies for our process heat line of business. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Principal Activities

· Follow all safety guidelines. Safety is always first.

· Verify raw material.

· Properly read a blueprints.

· Ability to use measuring instruments.

· Using manual machines such as lathes and mills.

· Perform housekeeping activities to keep area clean and free of hazards.

· Grinding, chamfer, and debur parts per prints.

· Ability to drill and tapholes.

· Use of pneumatic forming machines and rollers.

· Use machines such as CNC mill, CNC lathe, CNC laser, and water jets.

· Use plasma pipe cutters.

Key Accountabilities

· In this role, one will be expected to pick parts, communicate materials, maintain the production floor flow, and when possible, improve on production flow.

Candidate Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Work from 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday – Friday with overtime when requested. .
• Previous manufacturing experience a plus.
• Ability to read and understand a blueprint.
• Be self-motivated, driven, flexible and adaptable to complete assigned tasks; results driven.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge is a plus.
• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for 6 hours a day.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a professional business environment verbally, electronically and written.
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
