Summary:
The Receptionist will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the Firm.
Essential Functions:
- Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs them accordingly.
- Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages.
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
- Receives new case assignments via email; assigns to appropriate attorney and communicates assignment to client.
- Oversees the main reception desk and phone lines, with attentive follow up to correspondence and messages via phone and email.
- Maintains reception area in a neat and orderly condition.
- Represents the Firm in a professional manner.
- Monitors office supplies and break room inventory. Reorders as needed or as requested.
