Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Lighting Counter Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for lighting solutions and a strong ability to build relationships with customers. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting lighting products, providing expert advice, and ensuring a positive customer experience at our lighting supply counter. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking lighting products for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers at the sales counter, offering expert product advice and recommendations based on their lighting needs (residential, commercial, industrial).
- Help customers with product selection, including lighting fixtures, bulbs, controls, and related components.
- Process sales orders, prepare quotes, and manage special orders or custom requests.
- Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing timely and accurate information on products, pricing, and availability.
- Develop a strong understanding of the lighting products we carry.
- Manage customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests with a focus on providing excellent service.
Required Skills
- Prior experience in retail sales or counter sales in the lighting, electrical, or home improvement industry is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with customers.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
