Director of Marketing

Director of Marketing, Full-time Location: Morganton, NC

EJ Victor is a locally owned, US-based manufacturer of high-end and custom furniture serving designers and retailers, and making exciting strides in the direct to consumer vertical.

Primary Purpose: The Director of Marketing oversees the day to day operations of the marketing department. Their main focus is to manage marketing requests from other internal departments while executing long term projects.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Lead a team of marketing personnel in the execution of marketing requests; including fulfilment, pricelist management, creative content gathering/distribution, High Point Market planning, and website administration.

• Providing marketing support for High Point Furniture Market; including showroom walkthroughs, sales materials, hang tags, fabric/finish swatches, and event planning/execution.

• Managing the inhouse fabric swatching process; including inventory, customer updates, daily fulfilment.

• Ensures all product information is streamlined and accurate across all print and digital channels.

• Managing projects across all agencies; including advertising consultants, website development, and 3rd party ecommerce.

• Working with external agencies and licensees to ensure EJV branding is consistent throughout all digital and print media.

• Developing press contacts and media relationships to increase awareness of EJV brand and initiatives.

• Individual contributor duties may be needed such as:

• Pricelist creation and management.

• Helping with fulfilment as needed.

• Gathering marketing content for outside agencies.

• Content creation for digital distribution.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and/or experience required:

• 3 years furniture experience.

• 3 years working with agencies and press.

• 2 years managing people and projects.

• Knowledge of social media and SEO techniques.

• Knowledge of content creation techniques using computers and mobile devices.

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office 365.

Position located in Morganton, NC. Reports directly to Vice President of Technology
