Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us Key Responsibilities Culture and Employee Engagement • Develops and drives global employee value proposition and employee communications program that helps achieve business objectives by educating and engaging BMS teams. • Partners closely with HR to effectively communicate culture to team members. • Oversees development/creation of opportunities to promote our patient-centric culture, vision and values. • Inspires ownership and action in culture initiatives. • Follows employee engagement and culture-related strategies, trends, tools and technology. • Ensures diversity of voices and perspectives in storylines, messaging. Enterprise Communications • Leads strategy for internal messaging platforms, reaching all team members where they are and ensuring a multi-directional flow of communications and input. • Develops framework for benchmarking, tracking and measuring effectiveness of employee communications. • Oversees large-scale internal communications initiatives across company (enterprise events, employee education, etc.). • Serves as SME, partnering with HR on key initiatives (hybrid working, return to work, people strategy). EVP/Talent Strategy • Envisions, develops and oversees a global talent acquisition and retention strategy for BMS employees worldwide that supports our brand identity. • Plans and executes employee engagement events and campaigns. • Collaborates with Human Resources to communicate employee-focused initiatives, HR news and related activities. • Plans and manages talent-related events, both internally and externally. Patient Engagement • Leads programming to seek out and develop content that brings the patient story to life. • Oversight of patient engagement relationships and engagement planning. Leadership • Manages, leads and supports direct reports and team members. Promotes a high-performance culture aligned with business goals, accountability for results and enhanced development opportunities for greater learning. • Oversees agency support and budget. Qualifications & Experience • 12 years of internal communications experience in large, multi-national company. • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English or related discipline. • Excellent writing and research skills, with knowledge of AP style and a keen attention to detail. • Experience leading and developing teams. • Familiarity with HR trends and practices. • Pharmaceutical or similar experience preferred. • Ability to communicate complex HR initiatives into meaningful narratives. • Ability to collaborate across matrixed organization. • Exceptional senior counseling skills. • Superior written, presentation, facilitation and interpersonal communications skills. • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills. • Excels in fast-paced, challenging environment.
