Description
Basic Function: Provides excellent customer service by filling the shelf with
incoming stock and back stock, and responds to customers’ questions and needs
in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
Examples Of Work Performed:

- Provides excellent Customer Service.
- “Spots” items in the right position on the floor to be ready to be stocked.
- Fills the shelves and rotate items if necessary.
- Performs duties of carryout when needed.
- Face items.
- Assists the truck driver with unloading deliveries and the placement of the pallets.
- Uses the box bailer, and makes bails (must be eighteen year old to perform).
- Buffing of the floor might be included in the weekly duties (must be eighteen year old)
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by manager.
- Assists on the frontend to help bag and carryout groceries to customers' vehicle.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility:
- There are no supervisory/managerial responsibilities for this job.
Requirements
Work Environment:
Works in a grocery store setting, including the incoming inventory room and the general grocery store area. Moving objects 0-50 lbs. may be required. Standing, stretching, crouching, on feet most of the shift, and working with hands are required to perform the job.
