What are the responsibilities and job description for the Soarian ATE Consultant position at e4 Services?
e4 is a Healthcare Consulting firm based in Philadelphia established in 2006. We currently have a growing staff that represent us at healthcare organizations across the US with a large presence in the mid-Atlantic region. We provide healthcare IT and operational support. Our services include project management and SME support for system implementations and conversions, including Clinical, HIM, CDI, Coding, IT and Rev Cycle.
The Go Live Support Specialist provides on-site support to end-users of specific systems within the organization. The Go Live Support Specialist facilitates on-going support and training to increase system adoption
Soarian Patient Access Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides system support and training to end-users via person-to-person, WebEx and/or training sessions
- Instructs users on log-in procedures, navigation and data entry procedures
- Performs role-based and specialty-specific instruction as needed
- Reports to Manager on outcomes of all support and training sessions
- Provides input for on-going development of training materials, reference guides and job aids, as needed
- Assists with training logistics and facilitates large training sessions as needed
- Qualifications4 years of related work experience
- At least 1 year of experience providing application support and professional services in a healthcare specialty, business, education, or relevant fieldAt least 1 year of experience in troubleshooting windows workstations including network and operating systems
- Experience working in, or closely with, ambulatory medical care clinics and experience working with physicians
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record, Registration, Scheduling, Billing, Transcription, EMPI, ADT, or other clinical and ancillary systems utilized in hospitals and physician practices
- Experience with hand held devices and Macintosh Operating Systems
- Experience working with and managing colleagues in a matrix-management model is helpful
- Attention to detail, patience, and a positive, customer centric attitude
- Strong verbal, written communications, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop proficiency with unfamiliar toolsets
- Demonstrated ability to meaningfully contribute value as member of a team, supporting coworkers when necessary to ensure a positive user experience and smooth operations; including reliability and punctuality
