Job Description
TRAFFIC COORDINATORThe Traffic Coordinator manages daily manual and clerical duties associated with the receipt of materials and supplies and the shipment of Company products, Company-owned materials, and company-supplier material.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
- Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the proper channels.
- Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Make special shipping arrangements, as necessary.
- Prepare bills and invoices.
- Manage distribution and shipment budgets.
- Ensure that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION• High School Diploma or equivalent.
•5 years prior experience with power tools and standard construction tools.
•5 years prior experience with Powered Industrial Trucks, i.e. forklifts, order pickers, powered pallet jacks, etc.
•Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication.
•Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
•Excellent customer service and client relations skills.
•Good collaboration and teamwork abilities.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
•Advanced data analysis and data visualization.
•Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes.
•Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
