Lead Data Analyst // EAGLE BROOK CHURCH
POSITION SUMMARY
Provides strategic analysis of reporting and metrics for use across all departments. Develops the required metric and reporting output tools, including dashboards, graphics, tabular information, user interfaces, and automation tools, as well as providing relevant interpretation and analysis of these results. Provides leadership and vision to the Database team. Reports to the Technology Director.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establishes the vision for the Data team based on the needs of the church, along with the Technology Director
- Leads, supervises, and develops the Data team
- Maintains up-to-date and accurate information by using data auditing and validation best practices
- Manages the Scoreboard and Dashboard by:
- Establishing and maintaining performance metrics
- Making continuous improvement performance metrics, targets, triggers, and alerts
- Coordinating the use churchwide
- Collaborates with ministry staff to identify opportunities for data analytics and ministry application
- Applies best practice methodologies and supporting tools for data reporting and analytics
- Manages financial, attendance, and ministry development reporting
- Oversees data accuracy/integrity validation, including opening and managing vendor support tickets
- Provides recurring and ad hoc information reports to users and departments
- Analyzes, defines, designs, and documents information reporting requests churchwide
- Works with vendors to streamline reporting, processes, and to suggest enhancements to their systems
- Develops, documents, and manages workflows and automation for information reporting processes
- Facilitates training on the use and application of information metrics, reports, and analytics
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- BA or BS degree in Management Information Systems or 4 years of experience in information management and reporting
- Follower of Christ and aligns with Eagle Brook’s core beliefs
- Expert level skills with Microsoft Excel
- Experience leading a team of 3-5 employees or more
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience with large database reporting and metrics development
- Knowledge of Information Dashboard and Metrics development, automation tools and procedures
WORK SCHEDULE
Generally, Monday – Friday at the Centerville office, with occasional evening and weekend duties as needed
