What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pastor of Guest Services position at Eagle Brook Church?
Eagle Brook Church is a multi-site church looking for a highly relational and inviting Pastor of Guest Services to join our campus team. This person will lead the Guest Services team and the guest experience culture at the campus. A person skilled in vision casting, recruiting, training, and developing others will thrive in this role. POSITION SUMMARY
Champions the guest experience at assigned campus. Focuses on creating engaging experiences and building transformational relationships. Builds and leads a team of volunteers, made up of core volunteers and volunteer leaders, to carry out Eagle Brook’s vision for Guest Services. Collaborates cross-functionally with the central Ministry Development team and peers at other campuses. Reports to the Campus Pastor.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifies, inspires, and invests in Guest Services volunteer leaders
- Equips volunteer leaders to lead core volunteers
- Oversees the guest experience from the streets to the seats
- parking lot
- lobby (greeters, hosts, kids’ check-in, etc.)

- Creates an environment in which volunteers are
- growing spiritually
- connected to the campus community
- inspired to own the mission
- Ensures an engaging community experience for volunteers gathering in Volunteer Central
- Meets with leaders one to one and in groups for spiritual and leadership development
- Works cross-functionally with a variety of central and campus teams
- Performs pastoral duties including visits, baptisms, weddings, funerals, and pastor on duty
- Oversees care ministries as assigned (i.e., One on One Care, Quest 180, Divorce Care, etc.)
- Supports campus teams as needed
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree, seminary training, or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 8 years) preferred
- 2 years’ experience building, leading, and developing effective volunteer and leader teams
- Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s nine core beliefs
- Experience in developing others
- Self-starter
- Skilled in problem solving and conflict resolution
- Ability to operate effectively in fast paced, team and cross-functional environments
- Strong communication skills written, verbal and interpersonal
- Must meet Biblical qualification for pastoral leadership
- Strong evidence of a Christ-centered life
WORK SCHEDULE
Generally, Saturday - Wednesday. Hours include weekend services plus some evening hours for meetings or events. Need to be able to meet when volunteers are available or pastoral care is needed.
