What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator position at Eagle eCommerce?
Job Summary:
The Extraction Machine Operator will safely control various machines and equipment involved in production of CBD oil. This position is Monday through Friday from 3pm to 11pm.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operates extraction machinery in accordance to company procedure.
- Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
- Maintain accurate records of production
- Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a controlled environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must wear provided PPE attire and follow all safety rules
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate and inspect machines
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Entry level position; will train the right candidate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour
