Responsibilities :
- Complete layout, fabrication, installation, repair, and maintenance of fixed fire protection systems.
- Follow manufacturer instructions, codes / standards, and Company policies.
- Interpret blueprints for proper system installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Verify and select materials according to job specifications, tracking and communicating material needs.
- Organize and prepare materials and equipment for job sites.
- Identify and communicate necessary changes to proposed work to Field Supervisor.
- Plan installation / repair sequence to minimize impact on customer activities.
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes, joining and securing them using proper standards and techniques.
- Maintains clean and neat job sites.
- Upholds Eagle Fire's reputation in all transactions.
- Commit to working until obligations are met, potentially involving overtime.
- Complete continuing education for required certifications / licenses.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications :
- Self-starter, able to work independently
- 2 years of industry experience in Sprinkler Install and Service on Wet, Dry, Pre-action and Deluge systems.
- Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and design specifications.
- Experience with trade tools and equipment such as pipe threader and groover
- Able to meet state licensing requirements and / or vendor certifications.
- Fire Sprinkler Manufacturer’s Certifications
- NICET certification
- Has practical knowledge of fire protection codes and standards
- Excellent customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for the last 5 years
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull
- Willingness to travel and stay out of town as needed
- Comfortable working in various temperature conditions and exposure to loud sounds
- Fluent in English, effective communication skills
