TITLE: Bar Back

Bar backs are to properly store, secure, handle, care for and issue goods, materials and merchandise for all bars and cocktail stations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and clean the bars constantly to ensure department of health and safety codes are met.
- Maintain all assigned equipment in a proper working manner, reporting all problems, damaged and general conditions as required to the Beverage manager and F&B supervisors.
- Continually monitor, maintain and clean all areas of responsibility.
- Set up the bars for opening and cut all fruit needed.
- Ensure the entire bar areas security at all times. Watch for any intoxicated guests and abuse problems.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Have the ability to provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Have the ability to keep up with an ever changing pace.
- Computer literate or knowledge of how to use point of sale and computers.
- Have the ability to speak with the guests about complaints and know when to involve the manager/supervisor.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
- Must have the ability to organize and lift 80lbs of weight.
- Must be able to work/stand (be on your feet) for long periods of time.
- Noise levels range from low to high with the pace of the casino/ bar.
- The immediate work environment is partially a smoking environment.
REPORTS TO: Beverage Manager
SUPERVISES: none
HOURS: The casino operates 24/7. Schedule, shift, and hours will vary.
