What are the responsibilities and job description for the BCBA position at EarlyBloom, Inc.?
EarlyBloom, Inc. is a new upcoming ABA agency and is looking for a BCBA to join the team to potentially play the role as their Clinical Director. Please be advised that this is a transitional role. The candidate will start as a part time CD/BCBA, however, as the agency grows in clientele, they will start playing the role of the full-time salary Clinical Director.
BCBA Duties:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and other team members.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plans.
- Monitor progress and make data-driven decisions to modify treatment strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress, including behavioral data collection and treatment notes.
- Provide one on one parent training and some supervision hours.
Transitional role to Clinical Director
Once the position leads to Full time Clinical Director position, this individual will provide all the BCBA duties and also the Clinical Director duties. Their responsibilities would be as such, overseeing the clinical department, providing ongoing training to all staff, ensuring that the clinical department is always within boundaries and ethical standards. Provide supervision hours to individuals with masters, report all clinical issues, matters and issues to the Executives, manage and supervise all BCBAs on their cases, and create, implement, and strategies new clinical trials and therapies.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, special education)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and evidence-based interventions
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis for treatment planning purposes
