Come work for a fun and exciting industry at our brand new location in Tacoma! Earthwise Architectural Salvage is the original building salvage company of the Pacific Northwest. Over the past 3 decades, we've salvaged thousands of houses, schools, barns, hospitals, haunted mansions, churches and pretty much any other kind of building you can think of! We sell the materials that we salvage at our 4 retail warehouses spread around Western Washington.

Earthwise Tacoma is seeking an assistant manager for our retail salvage warehouse.

We are looking for someone who is:

· Enthusiastic

· Great Customer Service

· Self Starter

· Love learning new things

· Helpful to all kinds of diverse customers

· Thinking outside the box and being creative

· Capable of leading a small team in a retail setting

Prospective team member requirements:

· Keep safety a top priority

· Has basic smartphone capabilities (we use these for our inventory system)

· Capable of managing the store on the managers days off (after a training period)

· Able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted

· Able to work weekends

· Able to work in an unheated unairconditioned warehouse and outdoor yard year round

· Reliable transportation to and from the store

· Knowledge of hand/power tools

· Excellent customer service

Compensation and Benefits:

· For Full Time Employees 80% health coverage paid by Earthwise

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
